Free List Update
What types of databases are supported? Almost all Macintosh and IBM PC formats are supported on 3.5” and 5.25” disks. IBM PC formats include; Excel, ASCII delimited, Dbase, MS Works, 1-up label image, ASCII fixed field, MS Access, Filemaker for Windows and Word tables. Macintosh formats include everything listed in IBM PC plus Claris and Filemaker Pro for Macintosh. What is NCOA? (National Change Of Address) NCOA is an address correction service that the Post Office provides to mailers through licensees. Licensees match mailing lists submitted to them against change-of-address information. When a match is found, the submitted database is updated with a new address, or the address is marked as undeliverable. This technique is the cutting edge of technology for list updating. It will actually be a requirement for those mailers taking First Class Presort discounts beginning in July, 1997. ![]() |
